Masters in AI

Is it worth it? I earn more than I need and I also don’t have immediate family who purely depend on me for money.

The masters is fully online and is offered by a public UK university.

Ai has been gaining traction and I’d love to be part of the early visionaries who create the solutions for the challenges we’re facing.

Also, I believe that ML + Quantum Computing has the possibility of changing the fabric of reality as we know it.

Thoughts?

Immerse yourself in this unique blend of afrobeats, Reggae,R&B, hip-hop, and alternative sounds that define the Alté movement.Alté started as a rebellious response to a traditional way of thinking, but it was most popularised by its genreless sound.

Have you ever bought a course from Udemy

Will it be worth it, I mean the returns. I understand people from abroad buy udemy courses at will because of their Currency Purchasing Power and the high salaries they will get once they get employed.

But for a Kenyan, will it be worth it. Or I just stick to Youtube courses which are somehow inadequate.

Why the hate

In 2007 we witnessed more bloodshed than we ever have. I was born in Eldoret and I come from the two tribes that fought so viciously there. So how did one view the other? First I will start with kikuyus. Contrary to popular belief, most of them did not buy the land they live in. It was given to them by Jomo when he settled then in uasin gishu against the will of the kalenjin. This was done in tandem with making Moi vice president to placate them. Anyways most kikuyus in rift valley are hustlers in the real sense of the word. Plainly poor. While they had been shunned by their hosts they had somehow managed to create their own community. They never understood why they were hated. The kalenjin to them were backward people who for the sake of it; enjoyed violence. The most correct way to describe their hate for kalenjin is disdain. Now the Kalenjin, they had like all tribes suffered under the British. Settlement schemes in their land by Kenyatta was seen as an affront to their future. While Moi cooled tensions while it benefitted him, he lit it when he needed for political gain, thus 92 & 97 violence in the rift. The Kalenjin viewed the Kikuyu and there is no right way to say this as an infestation and a cancer. In their eyes the Kikuyu only sought to dominate them. The correct way to describe their hate for kikuyus is disgust. So what is true? Whose hate is justified? None. Both are pawns and have always been and will continue to be until the end🧸

Is success brought about by luck or hard work?

I was watching this video on YouTube, I do not agree with it completely, but it showed me a different perspective. Here is the link

I think being successful requires one to work hard to some extent, but also there are other factors that affect one's success and some can be tilted in our favour. Like making an application early or just knowing the right people. What do you think?

Religious Deconstruction

So, I have been reading the Bible as an adult and boy! Ain’t it something.

I know all Christian platitudes to justify the word. Been an atheist before when I was a teenager maybe earlier. (I believe in Evolution and things based in science and evidence). Became an atheist then because of the inequality in Sunday school and family stuff amongst other things.

Got back to Jesus as adult and really believed. But more and more the character of God doesn’t seem to add up. No, its not the four horsemen. I don’t pretend to know everything. But reading books like “God: An Anatomy” and currently researching prayer, makes me wonder. (Side-note: I like prayer it’s meditative).

As of now I am more of “Christian Agnostic “ I know its an oxymoron but well if I was to label it. ( hate labels).

I believe that every religion has something to offer and been looking at parts of the bible as just literature or philosophy. I don’t believe in inerrancy of the Bible or Abrahamic religious texts.

If you are religious what makes you stay, beyond the platitudes especially if you’ve had doubts before, if you are not what made you stop believing in the Christian God or any other kind?

Kindly don’t say God/religion is about faith, I get that. At the moment the easy thing seems sucking it up and saying I believe cause that’s what is familiar.

TDLR: The character of God in the Bible does not add up to me anymore.

Thank you ☺️

I honestly think that women who claim to have found God between the ages of 27 and 30 are a red flag...

Here me out.... So even though I haven't definitely interacted with them all who claim that.... I've realized that the one's I know which are about 3/4 used to be serious hoes based on their own stories... I don't mean to judge them but brothers..... Ogopeni hao church girls juu the mileage they have on their pudesh wacha tu, ata KZZ ya Guka haifiki.... I believe ni mating strategy or sum juu naona ni kama wamerealize time is running out for them to settle down and their "friends" from the past who know for a fact these chiles have been ran through, won't want nothing to do with them.... So hapo ndio wanakuja kanisa kutafuta suitors and Sasa to find God after a successful 7-10 year whore phase.... Ama what do y'all think?
